About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics at California State University, Fresno. My research and teaching interests include L2 speech acquisition (perception, spoken word recognition and production); acoustic phonetics in various languages and teaching English as a second language (TESL). I am also interested in the use of acting techniques to train ESL teachers.
